If you have a few days left before you leave the capital, visiting Andasibe National Park is a good option. Here you can see the largestof lemur ; Indri Indri, and lemurs Island in Vakôna Forest (private reserve). The first day you visit a reptiles farm in pereyras . On day 2 and 3 you visit Andasibe National Park ( Analamazaotra or Mantadia ) and the last day you drive back to Antananarivo.

We visited Madagascar in October 2009. Our plan was to travel from Tulear to Tana by taxi brousse. In Tulear we met Baba and he could drive us to Tana for a very reasonable price. We made a good choice, he is a good driver, very helpful and he gave us a lot of information about Madagascar. On the way to Tana we visited Isalo, Ambalavao, Ranomafana, Ambositra and Antsirabe. Because we saved a lot of time by travelling with a private car, we had time left to visit Andasibe and Mahavelona. Baba gave us good advice about the hotels. We had a great time and we recommend Baba to anyone who thinks about visiting Madagascar.
To all visitors of this site: I can really recommend Baba. He is a great driver, knows what travellers wants to see and where to stop. The hotels he recommends are always on a good location, great settings en clean/comfortable rooms. In short: he knows exactly what is important for us travellers. We hired him as a driver on our holiday last year for actually 12 days, because of the good experience we prolonged it with 4 days more. Also thanks to Baba I have very good memories about the holiday in Madagascar.
