The Pangalanes Tour combines a visit of the Andasibe NP, where you can see the indri indri, a stay in Ankanin’ny Nofy at Ampitabe lake , a relaxing boat trip along the Pangalanes channel and the white sand beaches of Sainte Marie Island. This is what we call “romantic tour”

Day 1:	ANTANANARIVO - ANDASIBE NATIONAL PARK After the hectic atmosphere in Antananarivo this tour gives you an introduction of the rural life. On the way you visit the reptiles farm. It is possible to do a nocturnal visit with a local guide in Andasibe NP to see mouse lemurs, frogs and chameleons. Overnight in a hotel VAKONA LODGE.
Day 2:	ANDASIBE NATIONAL PARK, ANALAMAZAOTRA/PERINET In the morning you visit Andasibe NP with a local guide. Andasibe NP is home of the indri indri, the biggest lemur. You can hear its specific sound from far. Besides the indri indri it’s quite easy to see other animals, like other kinds of lemurs, frogs, lizards, chameleons and lots of birds. In the park you can choose for a lang walk (about 5 hours) or a shorter (about 2 hours). None of the walks is very heavy, but sometimes you have to climb through the trees to see the lemurs from a short distance. After lunch you drive to the Vakona Forest Lodge to visit the island of lemurs. Overnight in a hotel VAKONA LODGE
Day 3:	ANDASIBE NATIONAL PARK - MANAMBATO - BOAT TO ANKANIN NY NOFY Today you drive to Manambato, a picturesque lakeside resort. After lunch you travel by boat to Ankanin’ny Nofy. Ankanin’ny Nofy means ‘house of dreams’ and is situated at lake Ampitabe. Overnight in a hotel PALMARIUM.
Day 4:	ANKANIN NY NOFY - BOAT TO TAMATAVE You spend the morning in Ankanin’ny Nofy. After lunch you travel by boat to Tamatave through the Pangalanes canal. Besides fishing the local fisher men us the Pangalanes canal for transport in their pirogues. Enjoy the landscape during the boat trip. Your driver is waiting for you in Tamatave to bring you to your hotel. Overnight in a HOTEL H1.
Day 5:	TAMATAVE - MAHAMBO You drive to Mahambo, a nice town with a quiet beach, a lagoon and green surroundings. Overnachting in een hotel LA PIROGUE.
Day 6:	MAHAMBO - SOANIERANA IVONGO - FERRY TO SAINTE MARIE Today the driver brings you to the end of the tour, Soanierana Ivongo. From here you travel by ferry to Sainte Marie island. From July until October it’s possible to see whales around the island. There are diving centers, you can relax at the beach or rent a bike for a tour through the green hills of the island.
